Freddie the Firefly...

Freddie is the first and best toy I recently purchased for Esra...

He is very educational and the cutest, just look at those eyes!

He is colourful and extremely entertaining. Esra is 12 weeks now and I gave this to her a few weeks ago and she just couldn't stop staring at it.

Freddie is well made and suitable from birth. He is made from a variety of textures including crinkly bits, he has a squeaky bit, a mirror, teether, some rings to pull at, knots to chew and he also rattles when moved.

He can be clipped onto a bouncer, a car seat or even a buggy to provide constant educational stimulation.

Esra has just started to grab at it which I'm incredibly pleased about.

A perfect product from Lamaze, nothing negative to say from me at all.

Best of all I purchased Freddie from Amazon for £7.95 with free delivery and it arrived in a couple of days. (RRP £10.99)

If you are pregnant or have a friend that is, you definitely have to get them Freddie!

What's your best baby toy?

The best toys we have had have been linking rings and stacking cups. They only cost about £2 each, the rings are fab they can chew on them, play with them and they can go on the pushchair, the stacking cups still get played with now and my little boy has just turned one.
I keep meaning to start a blog like this but a year on still haven't got round to it!

Finn loves his Freddie the Firefly, it's the first toy he always turns to and he still favours it over all of his Christmas presents. His second favourite is the Nuby twisty bugz teether, its great when he's teething and he loving playing with it when he's in his car seat due to the different twisty knobs on it. Keep meaning to start my baby led weaning blog but Finn is being a slow coach with it!x

Freddie The Firefly and Sophie the Giraffe were my MUST-HAVE toys for my baby boy, he took to them right away, and they had exactly the stimulation I was looking for...awww...seeing you're sweet baby playing with him makes me miss those days!

Also, nice touch, adding masha Allah at the bottom of your page! Masha Allah!

The best one i purchased so far is the Leap Frog worm like musical numbers. It has a medley classical music button that serenades my baby to sleep in minutes. What a relieve when rocking n patting fail.

@Rica Ooh sounds good, I will check that out. :)

My favorite (as a baby) was a Gund.....which I still have. It's a stuffed toy pink bear that I call Mama Bear. Mine is a Snuffles, and it is a 10" pink one, which is discontinued, but I got it from my dad on the day I was born and I snuggled with it!

They have the Snuffles in lots of colors and sizes. They aren't "educational," but I always loved fuzzy things from the day I was born. I got pink Baby Bear (which is a Lil' Snuffles 7", this is still produced. It's technically a baby line) when I was 4 from my dad after my hip surgery. They're very soft, fluffy and fuzzy. I would get them in white....but my mom would kill me. I'm banned from anymore stuffed toys!
